Some of the world's best skateboarders descended on the Midwest this week, as Red Bull and Ryan Sheckler brought back the second annual Hart Lines contest in Detroit. The event modifies the existing skate spot in Hart Plaza, incorporating the ledges and stair set with ramps, rails, and a steep wallride. The contest challenges some of the elite talent, as it takes the existing street setup and turns it into a fast downhill run. In the end only, one skater would walk away with a cool $35,000 for throwing down in the D, and the competition was fast and fierce all weekend. Axel Cruysberghs and Curren Caples came close, but in the end, nobody could touch Nyjah Huston, who walked away with the win in his first appearance at Hart Lines.
